Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Data Engineering & Delivery team to develop and maintain data infrastructure, data ingestion solutions, ETL pipelines, robust data products, and data delivery systems for both production support and DSPE internal applications.
  • •Translate DSPE business needs and project requirements into technical specifications, implementation plans, and design documents for data system architecture and delivery solutions.
  • •Contribute to development, testing, deployment, validation, maintenance, and updates for data products and data delivery tasks.
  • •Improve and enforce operating procedures for compliance, quality, and efficiency, and create training materials for DSPE Data Engineering & Delivery-owned data products and systems.
  • •Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align development roadmaps, resolve dependencies, and share performance metrics; represent the DED team in stakeholder meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •A Masters degree in Statistics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Science, Operational Research, or a related field (Doctorate is a plus).
  • •At least 5 years of relevant industry experience with a Masters degree (or at least 2 years with a Doctorate).
  • •At least 2 years of working experience in a highly regulated environment (e.g., CLIA and/or FDA compliant settings).
  • •At least 2 years of management experience leading a Data Engineering, Data Production/Delivery, or Data Analytics team.
  • •Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience building robust data products and delivery workflows (dbt is a plus).
