Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct desktop and onsite contractor assurance reviews to support clients’ contractor safety management.
  • •Evaluate and advise on HSE plans, systems, and onsite arrangements across industries such as construction and renewable energy.
  • •Provide in-field safety and project support for Principal Contractor activities, including geotechnical site investigations and contaminated land remediation.
  • •Support construction and geotechnical field work supervisors with onsite health and safety support and advice to meet legislative and client obligations.
  • •Research, analyse, and recommend best-practice HSE approaches and deliverables tailored to client needs.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience as a health and safety consultant with a commitment to improving outcomes for frontline workers and communities.
  • •Strong analytical skills to assess risks and propose effective solutions, including contemporary approaches to H&S and psycho-social risk management.
  • •Experience performing onsite inspections and audits, with ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification highly advantageous.
  • •Ability to advise on consulting and project lifecycles and build proactive client relationships while maintaining high service delivery standards.
  • •Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Cert IV in WHS as a minimum, plus an Australian Driver's License.
