Job Summary

The Associate Sales Engineer supports Fastly’s pre-sales efforts as an early-career technical consultant, assisting with demonstrations, proofs of concept, and customer success. Working with field Solutions Engineers and sales teams, you’ll help accelerate sales cycles, analyze customer traffic and security needs, and contribute to technical materials and presentations while learning Fastly’s edge cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

•Support Solutions Engineering and Sales during customer evaluations, demonstrations, and trials.
•Assist in setting up and running Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to showcase Fastly’s platform capabilities.
•Help prepare and deliver technical demos, documentation, and presentations.
•Analyze customer websites and traffic patterns to identify performance and security opportunities.
•Support the creation of customer-facing materials such as value confirmation summaries and post-trial reports.

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
