Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference grids, and set out alignments, levels, and gridlines from approved drawings.
  • •Perform routine and specialized surveys (topographic, cross-section, and volume/quantity) to support planning and progress measurement.
  • •Carry out as-built surveys to verify constructed works meet design requirements and specified tolerances, and prepare as-built drawings and survey records.
  • •Conduct monitoring surveys such as settlement, deformation, and alignment checks for structures, earthworks, and track-related works.
  • •Process and manage survey data and records, maintain instrument logs, and coordinate with engineers, QA/QC, and contractor survey teams to ensure compliance with standards and datums.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 to 8 years’ construction/site surveying experience, including setting-out and as-built survey work.
  • •Proficiency with survey instruments (total station, GNSS/GPS, levels) and survey/CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • •Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or demonstrated equivalent experience).
  • •Rail or major infrastructure project experience is preferable.
  • •Middle East/UAE experience is highly advantageous.
