Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general ledger accounting including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • •Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities per defined timelines.
  • •Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting entries in the ERP system.
  • •Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and escalate exceptions when required.
  • •Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards; maintain documentation and audit trails.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • •Previous experience in an accounting or RTR role within Shared Services or corporate environment (preferred).
  • •Experience supporting external audits, with understanding of statutory accounts and annual reporting requirements.
  • •Experience or exposure to intercompany reconciliations.
  • •Good understanding of accounting principles with exposure to Spanish GAAP and IFRS (including IFRS 16).
