Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers across a defined Western Kansas market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and blueprints/specifications. Coordinate with team leaders and customers, ensure safety standards, and maintain accountability of tools and equipment. Work field-based on-site at customer locations, including occasional overtime, weekends, and overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand on-site installation/repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
•Provide direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems and equipment at customer locations.
•Diagnose and repair HVAC units using cutting-edge technology/software and a variety of hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience, with technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone/iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent violations, including specified offenses in the previous 3 years.
•EPA Certification.
•Be able to coordinate and execute on-site installation and repairs as part of a customer-facing role.
