Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the architecture, reliability, security, and modernization of HDR’s Azure infrastructure across production, disaster recovery, and non-production environments.
  • •Design and evolve Azure Government infrastructure, including Azure networking and components such as VNets/subnets, NSGs, application gateways, load balancers, traffic managers, VMs, storage, and private connectivity.
  • •Create and maintain infrastructure architecture and technical documentation (diagrams, designs, implementation/test plans, operational procedures, transition documentation).
  • •Drive security improvements (network segmentation, IP allow-listing, TLS/certificate management, identity/access controls, service principals, encryption, logging, and vulnerability management).
  • •Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issues, coordinate root-cause analysis across teams, and support high availability, disaster recovery, resiliency, and continuity-of-operations planning.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • •12+ years of progressive infrastructure/cloud/systems/technical architecture experience, including at least 4 years hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
  • •Strong Azure infrastructure and networking knowledge (virtual networks, subnets, Network Security Groups, load balancing, VMs, storage, identity and access control).
  • •Experience designing/supporting highly available, security-sensitive enterprise systems across multiple environments.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across network, OS, middleware, application, and database boundaries; working knowledge of cloud security principles (segmentation, least privilege, TLS/certificates, encryption, logging, vulnerability management).
