Key Responsibilities

  • •Support safety and environmental programs to align with regulatory, compliance, and company standards, including upkeep of EMS and SIPS.
  • •Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification efforts; coordinate certification activities and track audit issues to resolution.
  • •Collect and analyze EHS KPIs (OSHA/environmental violations, incident rates, turnover, workers’ compensation claims) and help track/reduce workers’ compensation costs, absenteeism, and turnover.
  • •Ensure required training is conducted; may train production employees and management on OSHA, environmental regulations, SOPs, and emergency response protocols.
  • •Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions, and help with employee exposure surveys as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in environmental, health and safety (or related) plus 3+ years relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Experience acting as a lead by training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process/project.
  • •Ability to handle multiple assignments, set goals, and complete commitments on schedule.
  • •Comfort working long hours, weekends, and being on-call when required.
  • •Ability to make strategic decisions during stressful situations, including leading emergency response efforts.
