Job Summary

Perform a wide range of general labor duties on construction sites, including shoveling and raking, moving and loading materials, setting and cleaning concrete forms, pouring concrete, and assisting with concrete finishing and curing. Support daily safety requirements by following MSHA/OSHA/DOT rules, completing area inspections and pre-shifts, and signaling equipment operators. Assist with reading roadway plans and standard drawings under foreman direction.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow all safety rules and regulations (MSHA/OSHA/DOT) and Pennsy Supply requirements.
•Conduct daily safety assignments including area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, and TRACK.
•Signal construction equipment operators to support alignment and movement.
•Level and grade earth and aggregates, spread hot asphalt mix to specifications, and maintain good housekeeping.
•Assist with concrete work such as constructing/assembling forms, placing reinforcement steel, and supporting finishing and curing.
