Job Summary

Own the plant maintenance work control process by prioritizing work, developing detailed plans, and ensuring the right parts, materials, and skills are available for execution. Serve as the CMMS expert, updating work order history and generating schedules and maintenance progress reports. Support safety compliance and Process Safety Management by organizing PSM elements, managing MOC documentation, and assisting with PHA/audits. Provide guidance to the Maintenance Department and occasionally lead employees and contractors.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute maintenance work while ensuring compliance with regulations (OSHA, EPA, USDA).
•Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, prioritize work orders, and ensure required materials/tools are available; update work orders and machinery history in CMMS.
•Generate reports on work progress and schedules, produce weekly maintenance schedules, forecast workforce needs, and manage MRO inventory (stocking, disbursements, returns, audits).
•Train maintenance personnel on reporting procedures and using CMMS; assist with contractor qualifications and performance management; train on PSM program elements.
•Organize and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) information, manage MOC submissions, assist with PHA/audits and PSSR, and maintain PSM/EPA compliance documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Working knowledge of basic computer skills, Internet, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
•Strong problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships.
