Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the ML lifecycle end-to-end, including data engineering, offline model development, and real-time inference to detect and stop fraud and abuse.
  • •Create features from behavioral, device, and transaction signals to improve detection quality.
  • •Evaluate model performance (precision, recall, false positives) and run experiments, including approaches using LLMs and agentic AI.
  • •Build and operate the production platform serving the models via APIs/SDKs, feature stores, and integration points for onboarding new surfaces.
  • •Partner with fraud investigators, Trust & Safety, and platform teams to convert new fraud patterns into defenses quickly.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, ML, or related, or equivalent experience.
  • •Deep experience with ML techniques including supervised/unsupervised learning, anomaly detection, and ensembles for fraud or risk detection.
  • •5+ years building production ML systems and scalable backend services.
  • •Experience owning an ML model’s full production lifecycle (monitoring, retraining, tuning as fraud patterns shift).
  • •Fluent in Python and SQL; comfortable with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn) and a production language (Java, Go, or similar).
