Key Responsibilities

•Serve as verification and test architect for ARM-based software systems, including Linux kernel/drivers and peripheral driver verification.
•Lead board bring-up activities for bootloader, platform managers, Linux kernel/drivers, bare-metal drivers, and applications on ARM boards and emulation/prototyping platforms.
•Develop and execute test plans to evaluate functionality, security, and efficiency of firmware using emulation and evaluation boards for pre-silicon and post-silicon verification.
•Analyze, track, and debug test failures, determine corrective measures, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
•Automate functional and system-level tests using Python, integrate into test automation frameworks, run regression tests, triage issues, create defects, and drive code coverage using standard tools like LDRA.

Key Requirements

•12–16 years of experience in verification and testing of embedded system software or firmware.
•Experience with device driver verification and validation on Linux, bare metal, and real-time operating systems.
•Skills in compiling/building/cross-compiling, debugging, testing, and deploying bootloader, TF-A, Linux kernel, and related images for board bring-up using JTAG debuggers and emulators.
•Good understanding of SoC/processing technologies such as ARM, RISC-V, or X86, including areas like MMU, interrupt handling, and caches.
•Programming skills in C/C++ plus build/scripting tools (Makefile, linker files, Python/Shell/Tcl) and experience with GIT and test automation frameworks like Pytest and Jenkins.
