Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as lead product developer, working with cross-functional teams to drive execution across multiple R&D product development projects.
  • •Translate research findings and communicate results to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment through lab and production environments.
  • •Manage and execute product testing and qualification in laboratory and production settings with cross-functional partners.
  • •Lead formulation and processing scale-up work to develop and optimize key unit operations and robust, repeatable factory-scale production.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry, with minimum 6 years’ experience commercializing products end-to-end in the food/CPG industry (or minimum 5 years’ experience with a Master’s Degree).
  • •Technical depth in peanut product development, including fats/oils chemistry, peanut raw materials and processing, and formulation/stabilizer systems to control oil separation and deliver target texture/performance.
  • •Proven scale-up and process development leadership, optimizing key unit operations (e.g., roasting, milling, homogenization, crystallization, vacuum deaeration) and translating bench formulas to repeatable factory-scale production.
  • •Strong food safety/quality and analytics capability, including aflatoxin/Salmonella controls and GFSI-aligned programs (HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC), plus analytical/sensory and shelf-life testing.
  • •Plan and design experiments, anticipate next steps, incorporate course corrections, and manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
