Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary support to the Operations Manager and Shift Manager to ensure daily operations are safe, effective, and follow approved procedures.
  • •Interface with support organizations to understand planned facility operations and ensure activities comply with the facility safety basis authorized work.
  • •Troubleshoot and perform improvement activities for emerging issues to resolve problems and improve compliance implementation effectiveness.
  • •Coordinate large, cross-cutting activities involving multiple interfaces across organizational lines, as needed, in a project management role.
  • •Evaluate proposed modifications/changes against the approved Documented Safety Analysis via the Unreviewed Safety Question (USQ), and determine appropriate scope/methods for facility changes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,718 - 213,847

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 15-20 years of direct experience, or an MA/MS with 14-18 years of experience.
  • •Must meet DOE O 426.2A requirements, including engineering/related scientific baccalaureate and nuclear experience per the stated alternatives.
  • •DOE Q clearance preferred; must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance from the Department.
  • •Ability to successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug test; job-related pre-placement medical examinations may be required.
  • •WSAP testing designated position may require participation in an ongoing random drug testing program in addition to the pre-employment drug screen.
