Job Summary

Build and ship high-quality, scalable full-stack products that integrate state-of-the-art ML for environmental impact. Work closely with ML research, Product, and Partnerships across two products: Skylight for real-time vessel detection and OlmoEarth for end-to-end Earth observation model workflows. Key Responsibilities

•Develop and ship scalable full-stack products integrating state-of-the-art ML models for environmental and high-impact users.
•Collaborate with ML research and Product/Partnerships teams to translate user needs into requirements and system design.
•Own the end-to-end lifecycle of software products, including ongoing iteration based on user feedback.
•Maintain production reliability through on-call rotations, troubleshooting, and deep investigation of logs/metrics/code.
•Use modern AI tooling and clear technical planning to guide stakeholders through implementation details.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of professional software engineering experience (internships/graduate/research not counted).
•Experience as a generalist software engineer across the stack and product lifecycle, including web applications, data pipelines, distributed systems, and modern cloud tooling.
•Hands-on use of modern AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, agentic workflows) to improve how engineering gets done.
•End-to-end ownership of software products: shaping requirements, designing architecture, shipping to external users, and iterating from user feedback.
•Ownership of production systems, including on-call rotations, troubleshooting issues, and using logs/metrics/code to drive actionable insights.
