Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and supervise further processing production operations to meet quality and cost objectives while maintaining safety.
  • •Optimize production goals and drive continuous improvement, including participation in Operational Excellence project meetings at least twice per year.
  • •Ensure work teams follow standard work practices to improve efficiency and achieve production targets, including training employees on those practices.
  • •Monitor production flow, throughput, and departmental performance to meet efficiency, yield, and quality goals.
  • •Coordinate production with maintenance, sanitation, quality, shipping and receiving, ensure USDA/OSHA compliance, and conduct plant inspections to eliminate hazardous conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in the poultry/food industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • •Good leadership skills.
  • •Ability to interact with operational and processing management.
  • •Critical thinking and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
