Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute end-to-end technology vision and roadmap aligned to business objectives.
  • •Own database and cloud architecture, model development, and climate/satellite data pipelines, including satellite index integration.
  • •Automate ML and data pipelines to reduce manual intervention and scale without proportional headcount growth.
  • •Ensure secure, resilient, cost-efficient data ingestion/storage/analytics/distribution; uphold IP custody standards.
  • •Recruit, mentor, and manage engineering and data teams; bridge engineering and data while collaborating with CEO and operations lead to translate needs into technical specs and shipping plans.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years leading engineers, owning architecture and production delivery at scale.
  • •Deep hands-on system design and software development expertise; able to review PRs and set technical standards.
  • •Proven track record building and scaling cloud-native platforms (AWS preferred), including data pipelines, APIs, and multi-channel delivery across web, mobile, and messaging.
  • •Experience shipping AI/ML-powered products and fluency in architecting systems around models moving from notebook to production.
  • •Experience hiring, mentoring, and managing engineers and blended engineering/data teams.
