Job Summary

Conduct thorough financial needs assessments to recommend appropriate deposit and loan products, supporting customers at the service window and through sales conversations. Under direct supervision, generate leads, build and maintain customer relationships, and meet activity and growth goals. Open accounts, process loan applications and related requests, handle transactions, and assist with customer needs and issue resolution while following operational, regulatory, and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct financial needs assessments and recommend deposit/loan products to meet customers’ immediate and future needs.
•Generate leads and maintain profitable customer relationships while delivering great customer experience.
•Open personal and business accounts and prepare related documentation.
•Input and close personal loan applications, including lines of credit and credit card applications, following operational and regulatory requirements.
•Provide transactional support and resolve customer requests/complaints by handling items such as wire transfers, card orders, and address changes while adhering to security procedures and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

•1-3 years of banking experience or prior teller/customer contact/sales experience (equivalent).
•High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Intermediate knowledge of bank operations, products, services, and related state/federal laws and regulations.
•Intermediate skills with computer terminal/personal computer use, including word processing, spreadsheet, and specialty software; mainframe exposure preferred.
•Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong organizational and time-management ability.
