Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, delivering and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Analyze and maintain an understanding of client financial needs and conditions, using personal financial planning to work with assigned investment accounts on asset allocation objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, investment, and market trends; act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients, their attorneys, and CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing new products, and supporting sales processes and referral guidelines.
  • •Coordinate with Truist IRM partners and external centers of influence to ensure integrated service delivery and compliant portfolio management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending, or one year in a financial client relationship manager role.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit and bank products for the mass affluent market.
  • •Active and maintained Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66), and applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable); obtain/transfers and SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance requirements within stated timelines.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
