Key Responsibilities

  • •Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies.
  • •Monitor a portfolio of commercial loans and proactively identify emerging risks.
  • •Perform portfolio administration including management of delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base and covenant compliance, and product renewals.
  • •Collaborate with Relationship Management and other Bank partners, including attending client calls and establishing positioning as a secondary bank contact.
  • •Review and negotiate credit documentation in consultation with legal counsel, and assist with training and/or mentoring colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree.
  • •8+ years of experience in an underwriting or commercial banking environment.
  • •Experience underwriting complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies.
  • •Formal credit training.
  • •Proficiency in S&P Capital IQ.
