Key Responsibilities

  • •Enhance an application that manages reservations of physical hardware used for teams testing Akamai Cloud projects.
  • •Develop backend automation that creates testing environments to support dozens of services and engineering teams.
  • •Contribute to building and scaling virtual machine-based development environments for engineers’ demands.
  • •Identify bottlenecks in development and deployment strategies and propose improvements to reliability and performance.
  • •Provide technical leadership by proposing improvements to coding and design patterns, and build reporting tools for capacity utilization.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • •In-depth expertise in microservices, cloud networking architectures, and relational databases such as MySQL and Postgres.
