Key Responsibilities

  • •Obtain necessary stock, fixtures, tooling, and gauging for weld operations.
  • •Perform weld tech functions, including pre- and post-heat parts and applying coatings during weld processes.
  • •Conduct weld preparation, polishing on a lathe, and cleaning of machines.
  • •Perform in-process inspection as a certified operator and ensure weld integrity.
  • •Handle computer transactions, move parts to/from/within the module, and provide general housekeeping and direction to Module Support Tech.
