Key Responsibilities

  • •Own PI signoff for advanced-node ASIC/SoC designs, including static/dynamic IR drop, electromigration, power grid analysis, and power-up/power-down analysis.
  • •Lead full-chip and block-level PI analysis from early design through tapeout using power delivery network modeling and vectorless/vector-based simulation.
  • •Drive early-stage PI methodology and flow bring-up for new process nodes, early PDKs, and new power architectures.
  • •Analyze and debug complex PI results such as static/dynamic IR hotspots, EM violations, current spikes, power-grid connectivity issues, and transient behaviors.
  • •Serve as a technical interface with Foundry and EDA vendors to resolve PI rule interpretation, EM/IR requirements, package model correlation, and tool discrepancies.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •5+ years of experience in power integrity analysis for ASIC/SoC designs.
  • •Hands-on experience with industry-standard PI tools, e.g., Ansys RedHawk-SC, Synopsys PT-PX, and Cadence Voltus.
  • •Experience with static/dynamic IR drop analysis, electromigration analysis, and power grid analysis.
  • •Experience with PI signoff flow from early design through tapeout.
