Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute Traditional Asset (Equity / Fixed Income) business opportunities through institutional sales efforts in Japan.
  • •Deliver new information and articulate HSBC’s investment capability to prospective investors in coordination with global investment teams.
  • •Drive institutional opportunities, with a focus on Public Pensions and Corporate Pension clients.
  • •Retain existing mandates via proactive engagement, regular updates, and timely issue resolution.
  • •Provide Traditional Asset product/strategy expertise to support Wholesale Business activities, including client materials and meeting support.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience introducing/servicing Traditional Asset (Equity / Fixed Income) strategies to institutional clients.
  • •Proven ability to work with global/overseas-based investment teams in a multinational matrix environment.
  • •Experience understanding how business is conducted in Japan and working with a sophisticated institutional client base.
  • •8–10 years’ experience in the asset management industry.
  • •Strong ethics and native-level Japanese with business-level English.
