Job Summary

Build and scale production recommendation systems that improve user experience and TikTok’s content ecosystem. Own full-stack ML system(s) from development through ongoing support and improvements, and develop ML pipelines to address key product challenges. •Develop recommendation systems to improve user experience and the platform content ecosystem.
•Build machine learning systems and pipelines to tackle critical product challenges.
•Own full-stack machine learning system(s), leading development, support, and ongoing improvements.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design product strategies and build solutions to grow TikTok in the US market.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or above) in computer science or a related major with 4+ years of related work experience.
•Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithm design, and experience building large-scale production systems.
•Solid practical experience developing machine learning systems using at least one deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow).
•Experience in applied machine learning, machine learning infrastructure, large-scale recommendation systems, and/or market-facing machine learning products.
•Good written and verbal communication skills.
