Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the reliability and performance of production ClickHouse clusters, whether self-hosted on Kubernetes or run as managed services.
  • •Design a standard architecture and tooling to scale to dozens of multi-node clusters without linearly increasing operational effort.
  • •Manage the cluster lifecycle as code: provisioning, configuration, scaling, upgrades, and migrations.
  • •Build monitoring and alerting to catch problems before users notice them, and act on early warning signs.
  • •Keep clusters secure by default and own backups and disaster recovery, regularly testing restores.

  • •Deep DBA-level knowledge of ClickHouse in production, including storage, merging, replication, and query behavior.
