Job Summary

Own and develop relationships with a portfolio of top UK automotive retail accounts, acting as a strategic lead and customer advocate within a cross-functional pod. Drive retention and expansion through upsell and cross-sell alongside the sales executive. Build and maintain strategic account plans, track account health using data and insights, and represent customer needs to ensure product development, support, and service delivery align.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary point of contact for a defined portfolio, building trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders.
•Lead retention and growth initiatives, working with the sales executive on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
•Coordinate cross-functional pods (sales, professional services, customer success) to deliver cohesive account strategies.
•Develop and maintain strategic account plans covering client goals, risks, opportunities, and business outcomes.
•Represent the voice of the customer internally and track account health/performance using data to improve adoption and satisfaction.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•At least 4 years of hands-on experience managing client accounts, with a focus on customer success and business growth.
•Proven account management experience, preferably within the SaaS or software sector.
•Strong understanding of SaaS business models and customer lifecycle management; automotive retail experience is a bonus.
•Familiarity with sales methodologies such as solution selling or consultative selling.
•Knowledge of customer success best practices and account retention strategies.
