Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise daily production of photovoltaic modules to meet quality standards and cost-efficient outcomes in at least one plant area.
  • •Support safety procedures and 5S housekeeping standards.
  • •Coordinate on-the-job training, identify training opportunities, and maintain associate training guides and progress.
  • •Maintain associate records in Solar Connect, ensure accurate timekeeping in Kronos, and maintain product inventory accuracy.
  • •Drive production performance by applying TOC to maximize throughput, eliminating downtime constraints, and monitoring manufacturing processes to meet cycle time targets.

Salary: USD 56,100 - 80,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED required.
  • •Meet one of the six criteria, including First Solar Supervisor/Temporary Supervisor, Team Lead/Temporary Team Lead, or Production Technician II/Coater Technician II experience.
  • •Two (2) years supervisory experience in a manufacturing production setting (or related settings such as warehouse, textile, agricultural, or material inspection) OR two (2) years supervisory experience plus six (6) months of First Solar experience.
  • •Four (4) years supervisory experience plus two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing production setting (or related settings).
  • •Effective communication and supervisory skills, with efficient Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills and strong decision-making, organization, and planning abilities.
