Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor after-hours communication channels (email, phone, text, Slack) during assigned shifts and manage interpreter/captioner scheduling coverage.
  • •Respond to urgent scheduling issues including callouts, cancellations/no-shows, and last-minute or emergency service requests.
  • •Serve as after-hours point of contact for interpreters and captioners, confirming arrival/coverage and documenting callouts/attendance issues.
  • •Update Interpreter Intelligence (II) and maintain scheduling documentation (coverage changes, cancellations, notes) for next-day coordination.
  • •Handle client after-hours inquiries professionally, troubleshoot scheduling/service issues, and escalate high-risk situations using established protocols.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24 - 26 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in scheduling, coordination, or operations within ASL interpreting services, CART/captioning, accessibility, or language services.
  • •Demonstrated experience coordinating onsite and/or remote accessibility services.
  • •Prior experience working in Interpreter Intelligence (II) or comparable scheduling systems (preferred).
  • •Working knowledge of ASL interpreting and interpreter qualifications, plus CART and captioning workflows (onsite and remote).
  • •Strong attention to detail and documentation skills, with effective written and verbal communication.
