Key Responsibilities

•Clean and sanitize process equipment to establish a clean environment for producing and packaging quality products.
•Ensure equipment and facility are effectively sanitized according to food manufacturing regulations and government sanitation requirements.
•Perform plant cleaning per the Master Sanitation Schedule and maintain general housekeeping across the plant.
•Disassemble and reassemble processing equipment (e.g., machines, pumps, bucket elevators, slurry equipment, filters).
•Support safety and compliance activities including GMP adherence, PPE use, chemical handling per SDS, and participation in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives like 5S.

•High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
•Ability to follow established food manufacturing regulations and government sanitation requirements.
•Ability to operate powered cleaning equipment and safely use tools/equipment (e.g., floor scrubber, floor jacks, vacuum cleaner, trash compactor).
•Ability to follow safe lifting/carrying instructions, identify/report defective equipment, and report job-related injuries.
•Willingness to learn and perform Allergen Elimination Procedure and follow GMPs with appropriate PPE.
