Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks for complex AV systems during and after build based on project scope and directives.
  • •Read and interpret electronic schematics/architectural blueprints; use hand and power tools to install and prepare system components.
  • •Test point-to-point functionality and integrated systems; troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP systems.
  • •Field-install control programs (AMX/Crestron) with upload/download capability and write minor DSP code; make minor programming changes as directed.
  • •Provide documented testing and commissioning results, complete punchlist items, perform client training, and serve as a customer liaison in absence of the Project Manager.

  • •Proficient with test and calibration equipment and ability to support user acceptance testing.
  • •Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints and install AV systems according to scope and directives.
  • •Troubleshoot complex system problems and test integrated systems, including AMX/Crestron and DSP systems.
  • •Ability to diagnose audio/video/control signal flow and understand IP networking, with minor programming capability (AMX/Crestron).
  • •Hold a valid Driver’s License and meet AVI-SPL driving standards; minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
