Key Responsibilities

•Design and build RESTful APIs and backend services to support applications
•Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability
•Conduct code reviews and write unit/integration tests
•Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices
•Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams; participate in incident management and system monitoring

Key Requirements

•4–7 years of backend application development in large-scale systems
•Hands-on experience with Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot for backend development
•Building and consuming REST APIs; strong understanding of SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA
•Working knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly Firestore; experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Playwright)
•Experience with Git and basic DevOps tools; exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub) and logging frameworks (Log4j, SLF4J)
