Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret all types of general radiological examinations.
  • •Perform and interpret procedures requiring fluoroscopy, special procedures, angiography, ultrasound, CT, and MRI within training, experience, and clinical privileges.
  • •Provide on-call emergency coverage.
  • •Work with technologists and instruct specialized views and patient positioning when unusual or difficult issues arise.
  • •Participate in Quality Improvement, physician conferences and rounds, and the orientation of new technologists and new radiologists.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate of an approved Medical School with a valid license to practice medicine.
  • •Certification by the American Board of Radiology or possession of a FRCR (Canada) in Diagnostic Radiology or the English FRCR (or equivalent).
  • •Specialized training or 4 years experience as a practicing radiologist.
  • •Current licensure in country of origin with DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
  • •Excellent command of oral and written English; knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
