Key Responsibilities

  • •Practice safe job practices while performing maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
  • •Use laptops/tablets to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; and maintain accurate daily electronic documentation.
  • •Diagnose root causes and determine corrective actions using data from many makes and models.
  • •Order parts and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, maintaining service processes as required.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites for repairs/maintenance and assist in training lower-level technicians; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with field service/maintenance/repair experience preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; safety-sensitive role requires passing a 10-panel drug screen.
