Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product and Business stakeholders, and estimate/own delivery tasks (design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation).
  • •Automate build, operate, and run aspects of software and drive code/design/process trade-offs within the team.
  • •Drive integration of services focused on customer journey and experience, and report status while managing risks for primary applications/services.
  • •Improve operational and engineering experience metrics in ownership area, including end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems.
  • •Review and guide development work, mentor less-experienced team members, and support demos/acceptance discussions with Product owners.

Key Requirements

  • •Write secure code in three or more languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript) and apply secure coding standards and vulnerability management.
  • •Understand engineering principles for building and running mission-critical software (security, customer experience, testing, operability, simplification, service-oriented architecture).
  • •Be able to debug and troubleshoot using core/heap/thread dumps and remove coding errors.
  • •Use standard branching (e.g., Gitflow) and peer review practices, and apply TDD/BDD to implement functionality.
  • •Understand API standards and cataloging, and apply CI/CD release workflows using tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, AWS/Azure pipelines, XL Release).
