Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor stores function and locations, including items, systems, data, and process flow, ensuring safety measures, shelf life, and environmental controls.
  • •Serve as a liaison between Stores, other stakeholders, and Quality Assurance to ensure timely and adequate receipt/issuance of aircraft spare parts, tools, and equipment (including AOG).
  • •Conduct inspections of stores, deliverables, and documentation; verify compatibility and issue certifications based on item type and condition (new/repaired/modified).
  • •Ensure parts are stored, maintained, and issued per approved standards, including segregation, detection/registration, packing, labeling, tagging, loading, and shipping.
  • •Oversee dangerous goods/chemical storage per IATA DG regulations and manage quarantine registers, shelf-life/calibration checks, and scrap documentation reporting to finance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Management (or equivalent); higher diploma in Engineering with relevant experience is acceptable.
  • •3-4 years of related experience in a similar aviation industry stores/maintenance capacity; experience with a low-cost airline is a plus.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • •Very good English communication (verbal and written) with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • •Knowledge of GCAA rules and regulations for acceptance, storage, and issuance of aircraft technical spare parts, tools, and equipment (IATA DG training is an advantage).
