Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel between assigned grower farms to perform poultry tests including weights, fat sampling, blood sampling, and scheduled vaccinations.
  • •Follow company, regulatory, federal and state guidelines and report non-compliant practices and animal welfare issues to appropriate personnel.
  • •Test soles of boots for Salmonella and report positives to growers and company personnel.
  • •Maintain feed tank inventories, order feed, and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely feed for growers.
  • •Monitor vaccine inventory (organization, temperature monitoring, delivery) and perform quality checks after vaccine application.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in Poultry Science, Agricultural Science, or related field preferred.
  • •Previous live poultry experience in a similar environment is preferred.
  • •Ability to humanely handle live animals to draw blood and collect fat samples.
  • •Strong mathematical skills to calculate correct vaccination mixtures.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication in English, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
