Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide L2 support for incident, request, change, and problem management related to database operations.
  • •Provide operational support covering 24/7 and participate in major incidents.
  • •Ensure SLA for incidents and service requests are met with high-quality work and required metrics (breach case target, MTTR, first level resolution) are achieved.
  • •Install and upgrade database systems, apply patches, and implement required changes while diagnosing and resolving database errors to maintain high availability.
  • •Manage database access and backups, ensure compliance with database and security standards, monitor performance proactively, and improve monitoring; develop operational processes and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • •Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.
  • •Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • •Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Java, PowerShell, and Python.
  • •Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work any shift.
