Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead electrical design and review/evaluate technical solutions for new-build and renovated data centers.
  • •Manage electrical design and technical management with external design institutes/suppliers and internal collaborating teams; review construction drawings and proposals and ensure quality control.
  • •Compile discipline-specific documents such as design briefs, drawing review checklists, and construction technical specifications.
  • •Conduct quality control of electrical equipment, including defect summarization from factory acceptance tests and follow-up on rectifications.
  • •Provide on-site technical support during construction and operational-phase technical support, including troubleshooting and updating design specifications based on findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering and Automation (or related), with at least 5 years of electrical technical design experience for data centers.
  • •Have led and participated in electrical system design for data center projects as a project leader or discipline lead.
  • •Proficient in designing, selecting types, and optimizing performance for equipment such as generators, power distribution cabinets, transformers, UPS systems, batteries, and PDUs.
  • •Familiar with data-center electrical industry specifications and cross-discipline coordination across the full project design cycle.
  • •Strong knowledge of standards for design and testing of power distribution products, including test planning, execution oversight, results analysis, and understanding manufacturing processes.
