Job Summary

Provide legal counsel to support US Government and international contracting across multiple business lines within Anduril’s Deal Team. Partner closely with Business Development, Proposal, and Engineering teams to capture and grow government contracts, oversee the acquisitions lifecycle, and lead or assist key negotiations. Manage procurement and compliance matters, including proposals, large contract monitoring, bid protests and litigation, licensing/services agreements, intellectual property, and employment matters in a fast-paced defense technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Support US Government and international business lines by providing legal counsel across the contracts lifecycle, including acquisitions, proposals, and contract monitoring.
•Drive customer growth by executing new government contracts and growing existing ones, partnering with Business Development, Proposal, and Engineering teams to set up follow-on opportunities.
•Manage relationships with procurement office representatives at government agencies and develop high-trust professional relationships.
•Lead or assist key negotiations and resolve performance issues by identifying risks and mitigations while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
•Handle deal-related matters including licensing and services agreements, bid protests and litigation, intellectual property, compliance, and employment matters, coordinating with outside counsel, vendors, engineers, executives, customers, and regulators.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years working on US Government or international contracts matters, ideally with a law firm or in-house at a government contractor.
•Solid understanding of the government procurement process, including contract vehicles/types (including non-traditional and CAS coverage), software acquisition approaches, and data rights issues.
•Judgment and initiative to own multiple projects end-to-end while guiding deal lifecycle work and handling unexpected legal issues.
•Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
•Licensed to practice law in CA, DC, OH, or VA, and able to qualify as a U.S. Person for access to export-controlled information or facilities.
