Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete a 12-week full-time digital circuit design internship with projects that have measurable impact on the business.
  • •Apply digital circuit design fundamentals and device-level understanding to support assigned project work.
  • •Develop and evaluate circuit designs involving CMOS logic, standard cells/libraries, and memory/array structures (e.g., SRAM).
  • •Use simulation and characterization approaches (including SPICE/HSPICE and related methods) to analyze circuit performance.
  • •Leverage relevant EDA tools and, depending on role needs, programming skills (e.g., Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL and scripting) to support design and automation efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a university pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field for the full internship duration, with an anticipated graduation date clearly indicated on your resume/CV.
  • •Experience or knowledge in Digital Circuit Design and Device Fundamentals, including place-and-route design tools and datapath tiling techniques.
  • •Knowledge of CMOS logic design (timing and delay analysis, standard cell design and libraries, inverters/NAND/flip-flops, memory and array design such as SRAM).
  • •Experience with simulation and characterization, including SPICE/HSPICE and related methods.
  • •Familiarity with digital circuit building blocks (e.g., flip-flops, level shifters, math cells, register files) and/or relevant EDA and programming skills such as Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL, plus Python/Perl and EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys).
