Key Responsibilities

  • •Support international naval export programmes by developing combat systems architectures and translating customer requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • •Deliver combat systems architecture work packages for new products and/or complex upgrades using new and existing technologies.
  • •Design and develop compliant, affordable solutions and present them to the business through the Technical Bid review process.
  • •Lead engineering resources to ensure bid, campaign, and contracted work tasks are achieved.
  • •Coordinate across matrixed, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver technical information and artefacts in line with schedules.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 87,200

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in a technology, engineering, science, or IT related discipline.
  • •Strong engineering awareness across Software, Systems (IT/Hardware), Hardware (IT), Safety and Security.
  • •Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues in a wider business context.
  • •Experience delivering combat systems architecture packages for new products and/or complex upgrades.
  • •Security and export control restrictions apply; applicants must achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (higher vetting may require 5 to 10 years of continuous UK residency depending on level).
