Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and leverage HR processes and key HR initiatives across television stations, including staffing, performance management, compensation planning, succession planning, training and development, rewards and recognition, organizational effectiveness, and employee communication.
  • •Create and execute a comprehensive employee relations strategy.
  • •Partner with business leaders on growth strategies and cost challenges, providing HR guidance and executing decisions.
  • •Work with managers to build employee career paths and identify training, skill acquisition, and advancement opportunities.
  • •Collaborate with Labor Relations on collective bargaining issues, resolving grievances, and furthering relationships with unions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • •7+ years of professional HR experience.
  • •Experience in employee relations and/or labor relations, including collective bargaining and grievances.
  • •Practical knowledge of HR disciplines (employment and labor laws, employee relations, performance management, organizational design, compensation) plus OSHA/workplace safety.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated facilitation/coaching and conflict resolution, plus proven business partnership with operating leaders.
