Job Summary

Own the design, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise patch management and software deployment operations across SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune for one or more client accounts. Serve as an L3 escalation point, govern patch lifecycles (SUP, WSUS, ADRs, update rings, maintenance windows), and ensure compliance via dashboards and SLA reporting. Lead deployment monitoring, validation, remediation, and software lifecycle governance across large endpoint estates.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and govern end-to-end patch management lifecycle in SCCM/MECM, including SUP sync, ADRs, deployment targeting, and compliance reporting.
•Architect and maintain WSUS topology and health (synchronization failures, certificate management, cleanup, and IIS monitoring).
•Build and manage SCCM software deployments, including deployment types, requirement rules, dependency modeling, and phased pilot/UAT/production pipelines.
•Manage Windows Update for Business and Intune update compliance using update rings, expedite updates, readiness targeting for Windows 11, and co-management alignment with SCCM.
•Produce patch compliance dashboards and SLA reporting, integrate vulnerability management outputs (Qualys/Tenable/Defender), and drive remediation for non-compliant devices and failed deployments.

Key Requirements

•Operate independently on complex patching and deployment challenges, serving as an L3 escalation point for patch and software deployment issues.
•Design and govern end-to-end patch and software update management lifecycles using SCCM/MECM, including SUP synchronization, ADR execution, deployment targeting, and compliance reporting.
•Architect and maintain WSUS topology (upstream/downstream configuration, classifications, synchronization schedules, and cleanup routines).
•Build and manage phased deployment pipelines and deployment types in SCCM (including application catalog health, distribution point content management, and failed deployment investigation).
•Manage Intune update and app deployment workflows, including Windows Update for Business ring policies and Win32/LOB/MSIX deployments with detection and remediation.
