Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform NDT inspections to inspect, evaluate, and certify structural components and sub-assemblies, addressing cracks and part health for acceptance or rejection.
  • •Implement work instructions according to approved written inspection documents (DI), technical sheets (FT), and work cards (CT), including preparation steps before/after testing.
  • •Carry out interpretations and evaluations for specific product/product types while following approved instructions.
  • •Maintain NDT equipment and perform related checks such as reference specimen collection, concentration checks, and contamination checks.
  • •Complete documentation including maintenance records, certify pass/fail, and update SAP labor tracking.

Key Requirements

  • •Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • •Have 2+ years of proven NDT testing experience in at least one NDT method, or 4 years as a certificated aviation maintenance technician (AMT) on aircraft components/systems.
  • •Hold an A&P license in addition to required licenses/certifications, or be able to obtain a repairman certificate within 3 months of employment.
  • •Be qualified to advise and perform inspections in the required NDT method, demonstrating capability to perform applicable examinations using suitable calibration blocks and written procedures within the first 90 days.
  • •Read and understand technical and regulatory documentation; know applications and limits of various NDT methods used to locate defects in aircraft structure and components.
