Job Summary

Lead technical operations for an auditorium and conference center supporting live event and corporate production spaces for a multi-channel retail client. You’ll manage control room and studio setup, troubleshoot equipment, oversee production design and directing, coordinate with client engineering for maintenance readiness, and develop SOPs to train staff and freelancers. Support webcast post-mortems, streaming/encoding operations, and remote presenter workflows to ensure high-quality, consistent productions.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up and configure control room and studio elements to support successful event productions.
•Provide technical consultation on broadcast approach and production design.
•Serve as the initial escalation point for equipment troubleshooting and coordinate repairs with client engineering.
•Oversee production operations including directing, audio mixing, robotic cameras, graphics, video playback, streaming, lighting design, teleprompter, and remote acquisition.
•Create and document SOPs, support preventative maintenance, and lead post-mortems with recommendations for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in live event production, event coordination, broadcast, audio/visual, and video production (or similar).
•3+ years managing onsite, virtual, and hybrid live events, including database and scheduling management.
•Experience supporting control room equipment (video switchers, audio consoles, robotic cameras, and video playback software).
•Knowledge of signal flow in a digital broadcast environment, including LAN/WAN networking and switches.
•Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, document SOPs, and coordinate with teams to keep facilities operationally ready.
