Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting, valuation, P&L, and Balance Sheet reporting in line with IFRS, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Prepare and review daily and monthly Product Control accounting and reporting activities for trading businesses.
  • •Perform P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations, investigate breaks, and resolve accounting discrepancies timely.
  • •Oversee IPV, FVA, PVA, and FVL preparation and review for Global Markets.
  • •Support financial close processes and collaborate with Financial Control and cross-functional teams on reporting, disclosures, and automation improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related quantitative discipline.
  • •Strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting for financial instruments.
  • •Knowledge of Product Control, financial accounting, or Financial Control processes within an investment banking environment.
  • •Experience producing P&L, performing balance sheet substantiation and reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting.
  • •Advanced Excel is a must; knowledge of VBA, SQL, or Python is an advantage.
