Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide Technical Authority for assigned systems by coordinating configuration management and ensuring system health, performance, and operability.
  • •Partner with the Configuration Management program for assigned system(s) to manage configuration activities.
  • •Prepare configuration control and design change packages, evaluating impacts to approved safety authorization bases.
  • •Perform troubleshooting and improvement activities, applying systems and equipment expertise to resolve technical issues.
  • •Conduct system walkdowns and support calibration, equipment testing/inspection determinations, spare parts evaluations, and system turnover to owner support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Physical Science (Chemistry, Physics, or related) from an ABET-accredited program in the United States and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • •Successful completion of a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
  • •Job-related pre-placement medical examinations may be required.
  • •Contingent upon contract award and funding; cannot begin work until funding is confirmed.
