Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end development of high-speed interconnect components (connectors, cables, sockets) optimized for data center platforms and rack-scale deployments.
  • •Architect advanced interconnect solutions for emerging packaging technologies, multi-node systems, and high-density racks to influence platform-level design decisions.
  • •Lead performance validation using signal integrity analysis, mechanical reliability testing, and compliance with high-speed data transmission standards.
  • •Develop and qualify interconnect ecosystems, including test boards, fixtures, and evaluation methodologies for readiness for high-volume manufacturing.
  • •Manage multi-supplier programs and collaborate with packaging, board, and system teams; create and maintain technical documentation (specifications, BOMs, assembly guidelines) and drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience developing and qualifying high-speed connectors, cables, sockets, and blind-mate interfaces for data center or complex hardware platforms.
  • •Strong knowledge of signal integrity, mechanical reliability, tolerance analysis, materials, and failure analysis for separable interfaces and solder joints.
  • •Hands-on ability to perform performance validation, including VNA measurements and failure analysis.
  • •Experience with interconnect reliability standards and contact metallurgy/plating finishes, including root cause analysis.
  • •Proficiency with CAD and simulation/analysis tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, LabVIEW, MATLAB, and JMP (structural FEA is a plus).
