Job Summary

Lead and grow the Development team by winning and delivering new development transport planning work across Scotland and nationally. You’ll manage large multi-disciplinary tender proposals, build trusted relationships with public and private sector clients and stakeholders, and provide technical advice through planning and design. Acting as Project Director on major commissions, you’ll provide strategic market insight, support bids with commercial and technical added value, and help ensure SHEQ compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share for the Development team.
•Liaise with the Regional Director and local office lead to set and agree growth targets and plans.
•Build trusted relationships with public/private sector clients and key stakeholders such as local planning authorities.
•Provide technical advice to clients and support them through the planning and design process.
•Lead and support bids and authorise submissions; act as Project Director for major projects while ensuring SHEQ/H&S compliance.
